About me
Hi there! My name is Anne Wisman. I’m 21 years old and I grew up in Rhenen, a small town in the Netherlands. My workplace? Wherever the waves take me! I travel across the Netherlands and, hopefully, the world in the future to capture special moments.
As a surf photographer, I don’t just focus on the action, I aim to capture the emotions, atmosphere, and unique connection between humans and nature. My goal is to show the beauty of this sport and the magic of being in harmony with the ocean. I keep my approach natural and spontaneous, creating photos that feel authentic and tell a story.
I draw inspiration from nature, the sport itself, and the people I meet along the way. The photobook Surf Tribe by Stephan Vanfleteren has been a major source of inspiration for me. Beyond that, every new place and face continues to fuel my creativity.
My passion for photography started when I was 14, after receiving my first camera. From that moment on, my love for the craft only grew. Now, I’m in my final year of photography school in Amsterdam, and I’m excited to forge my own path while continuing to grow both professionally and personally.
You can book me as a surf photographer, but I’m also open to other photographic challenges. I see every project as an opportunity to learn and refine my skills.
Outside of work, I’m an active person. I enjoy football, running, swimming, snowboarding, and, of course, surfing. I also love spending time with friends and family, creating memories together.
Curious about my work or interested in collaborating? Feel free to reach out, let’s see what we can create together!
